An exhibition currently on display at the Philomath Museum represents a touching tribute to Marys River Quilt Guild members who have passed away. “Their Quilts Live On” opened last week and will remain through Oct. 16.

Assembled by current members of the guild, the collection features the work of those former active members who left a lasting quilt legacy.

Quilters represented in the exhibition include Bunny Brehm, Jan Bressler, Sherry Clark, JoAnn Cutler Hay, Carol Farnes, Myra Kiekel, Elsa McCloskey, Carol McIntire, Cindy McNutt, Marnie Ross, Marjorie Posner and Shannon Rettig — plus three friendship quilts made by the entire guild.

The Philomath Museum, located at 1101 Main St., is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
