The Samaritan Pharmacy will begin opening on Sundays, Samaritan Health Services announced.

Located on the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center campus in Corvallis, the pharmacy’s hours beginning Monday, Sept. 21 will be 7 a.m.-7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (closed 1-2 p.m.) weekends.

The decision to extend hours comes as many retail pharmacies in Corvallis and beyond have either closed or changed ownership over the past year, according to Megan Jones, Outpatient Pharmacy Services director.

“To ensure reliable access and to meet the critical needs of our community members, we felt it necessary to expand our hours,” Jones said.

The pharmacy offers both in-store and curbside prescription pickup during business hours. Patients can also take advantage of free mail-order delivery throughout Oregon.

Beyond prescription services, Samaritan Pharmacy provides walk-in vaccinations, sharps disposal, drug take-back bins, over-the-counter products and translation services. The company operates seven locations across Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
