State Rep. Dan Rayfield will host community coffee events on July 24 in Corvallis and Aug. 7 in Philomath to discuss outcomes of the 2021 legislative session.
The event in Philomath will run from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7 at Philomath City Park. The Corvallis coffee will be this Saturday and go from 10-11 a.m. at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park’s Walnut Barn.
“I always enjoy hearing directly from the community,” Rayfield said. “One important part of this job is to be accessible and responsive to the community and these events provide us a great opportunity to do just that.”
Rayfield had routinely hosted community outreach events since taking office in 2015, but that went on hiatus due to COVID-19 concerns.
“We took a short break from in-person events while we were observing COVID-19 protocol, but I am glad we are able to get back to them,” Rayfield said. “The 2021 session was unique in many respects so I am looking forward to sharing with the community what we accomplished.”
