The Philomath Public Works Committee is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. Monday at City Hall with plans to take a look at bulk water sales.

The city has been selling water in bulk for years to residents whose wells have severely dropped in production. The committee will review the program as part of a process to create written policies.

The July 31 meeting agenda also includes plans to finalize street funding recommendations to be sent to the City Council

The Tree Board Committee, which falls under the umbrella of the Public Works Committee, is scheduled to respond to a request to remove street trees in a strip on the north side of Applegate Street situated between an alleyway and South 20th Street.

In addition to attending the meeting in person, the proceedings can also be viewed on the city’s YouTube channel. Committee members include councilors Ruth Causey, Matt Lehman and Christopher McMorran. Tree Board members are Giana Bernardini and Graham Seaders.
