The Philomath Public Works Committee plans to meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday via videoconferencing with an agenda that includes discussion of the merits and drawbacks of various funding mechanisms utilized for public improvements, such as roads.
The financing discussion relates to what method should be used to fund improvements to North 11th Street. The city staff’s recommendation is to move forward with a local improvement district. The pros and cons of that option and several others will be discussed.
The Tree Board does not have any business on the agenda.
The public can watch a live feed of the meeting on the city’s Facebook page.
