The Philomath School Board at its Monday night meeting will hear updates from principals on how classroom learning has been going, Philomath Academy’s Dan Johnson will talk about plans for summer school and Philomath High’s Mike Bussard will outline graduation. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be held virtually.
Superintendent of Schools Susan Halliday will give a report that is typically filled with several items of interest involving the district. Director of Finance Bill Mancuso will update the board on the latest with the budget process.
Among other items on the agenda, the board will take action on several city of Philomath requests involving a series of easements. Five policy readings will go through the first reading.
Board members will meet in an executive session at 6 p.m. prior to the regular meeting under allowances for considering the employment of a public employee, discussing labor negotiations and considering matters relating to school safety.
