The economic opportunities analysis determines whether the city has enough land to accommodate 20 years of commercial and industrial job growth.

The analysis was one of two completed by consultant ECONorthwest as part of an effort to gather specific data for the comp plan update. The other one was a housing needs analysis. A technical assistance grant from the state Department of Land Conservation and Development covered the cost of the reports.

The purpose of the hearing is to review and consider the adoption of the report.
