Philomath High School’s Future Warriors Volleyball Camp 2024 is coming up Aug. 7-8. The youth camp will accept boys and girls who this fall will be in grades 3 through 8.
Camp sessions will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the high school’s main gymnasium on those two days, which fall on a Wednesday and Thursday. The camp will be run by coaches and players.
On Day 1, passing, setting and serving skills will be covered along with fundamentals such as footwork, communication, rotations and court knowledge. Day 2’s session will focus on hitting in small groups, which will be split up by skill and ability. Participants will then put their skills to the test with drills, games and competitions to earn prizes.
For those who register by Aug. 5, the fee is $40. Checks should be made payable to PHS Volleyball and submitted along with a completed registration form on Aug. 1 or after. The fee is $50 after Aug. 5.
