The Philomath High School boys tennis team dropped an 8-0 decision Tuesday on the road against a Class 5A Dallas squad.
The Dragons won all six matches that took place on the court in straight sets. Two of the team’s victories were by default at No. 3 and No. 4 doubles.
Philomath’s girls were scheduled to play at home Tuesday against Dallas but the match was called off because of rain.
Both teams are scheduled to make their annual trek to the coast Thursday to play Marshfield and North Bend.
