The Philomath High School Hall of Fame’s second annual banquet to honor exceptional athletes and teams of the past is scheduled for Saturday, May 20.

Three former Philomath High coaches and athletes, plus 11 championship teams, will be honored. The 2023 Hall of Fame class includes coach Paul Mariman, Phil Davis (Class of 1960) and Fern Robinson (Class of 1967), the 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989 and 1990 girls cross-country teams, the 1993 boys cross-country team, the 1986 volleyball team, the 1990 and 1991 girls track and field teams, and the 1972 boys track and field team.

The reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. with tours of the PHS facilities, followed by the banquet at 6:15 p.m. with dinner catered by Pig Out BBQ and the inductee presentation.

Ticket prices are $25 per person with a purchase deadline of May 10 or until sold out. Tickets are available at www.philomathhalloffame.org and will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Dress for the event is smart casual.
