The Philomath High School girls tennis team played a makeup match against Blanchet Catholic on Wednesday and came away with a 7-1 victory.

The Warriors swept the singles matches with sophomore Bailey Bell, freshman Adele Beckstead, sophomore Daniella Carlisle and sophomore Megan Reese all winning in straight sets. Bell, Beckstead and Carlisle dominated their opponents with 6-0, 6-0 scores. Reese had to battle a bit more for a 7-5, 6-2 win.

In doubles, senior K Bacho and junior Phoebe Dodson won 6-1, 6-2. Sophomores Lorelei Schell and Nadia Durski pulled out a competitive 6-4, 7-5 win. Junior Stella Neville and sophomore Elise Reese won handily, 6-1, 6-2.

Philomath is scheduled to play at 4 p.m. Friday at home against Marist Catholic.
