The state’s annual report on the English Learners program, approval of the 2024-25 school calendar and a discussion on weather makeup days are among the topics to be discussed by the Philomath School Board at its meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Other items on the agenda include a policy revision, interdistrict transfer allowances, budget-related resolutions, an alternative education program and approval of an agreement with the Linn Benton Lincoln Education Service District. Routine reports are also on the agenda, including those from the school superintendent, business manager, associations and student government. A Kings Valley Charter School annual report is also on the agenda.
The School Board plans to begin the evening with an executive session at 5 p.m. to discuss topics allowed by state statute. Executive sessions are closed to the public.
The Philomath School District office is located at 1620 Applegate St., with access to the meeting through a door at the back of the building. Meetings are also streamed on the school district’s YouTube channel.
