Philomath Pride is set to return to Philomath City Park this Saturday, marking the fifth year for the family-friendly festival celebrating the area’s LGBTQ+ community and allies.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m. at the park, which is located at 299 S. 23rd St. Organizers are planning a free afternoon that includes vendors and food, along with trivia games, karaoke and live music performances throughout the day.

The festival is open to all ages and allies are welcome to attend. Masks are not required but organizers said they are appreciated and encouraged.

Philomath Pride launched in 2022 and has grown each year since, drawing more community organizations and larger crowds to the park. Last year’s event marked the fourth annual gathering and featured a community parade, an open mic session and a trivia competition, along with participation from local nonprofits, health providers and city departments.
