DAILY REPORTS

FRIDAY, AUG. 9

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included property found at 7:25 p.m. (Applegate Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 11:19 a.m. (address not reported) and 11:12 p.m. (Fern Road). PPD reported two traffic stops.

SATURDAY, AUG. 10

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included assisting a motorist at 2:56 p.m. (South 19th Street), unknown 911 call at 3:57 p.m. (Newton Place), lost dog at 5:45 p.m. (South 13th Street), suspicious person at 8:44 p.m. (Main Street) and a found dog at 11:07 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported no traffic stops.

SUNDAY, AUG. 11

• 6:07 a.m. — Police conducted a death investigation and found no suspicious circumstances at a residence in the 200 block of North 14th Street. 

• 10:46 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of North 12th Street. The victim believed that someone had stolen his golf clubs, however, it was discovered that a friend had borrowed them.

• 3 p.m. — Police responded to a 2-year-old child who was found alone wandering an apartment complex parking lot in the 3000 block of Main Street. The child, who was not harmed, was returned to a parent.

• 6:28 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a noise disturbance at Skirvin Park. An event that was going on (Mexican Rodeo) had a sound permit and the caller was informed of what was taking place. Another noise disturbance complaint and a harassment call followed at Skirvin Park later in the evening.

Other calls: Police responses included dogs barking at 5:30 p.m. (Grouse Place), mental health situation at 7:40 p.m. (North 14th Street), noise disturbance at 9:21 p.m. (South 13th Street) and harassment at 11:25 p.m. (South 13th Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.

MONDAY, AUG. 12

• 8:17 p.m. — Police took a 29-year-old Philomath woman into custody on a mental health hold and transported her to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

Other calls: Police responses included a report of a sex offense at 2:24 p.m. (call handled by dispatch). PPD reported no traffic stops.

TUESDAY, AUG. 13

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 12:35 a.m. (Marlon Place) and an unknown 911 call (South 16th Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 14

• 12:10 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a sex-related offense. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 12:25 p.m. — Police found a pug on Main Street and North 19th Street and after an unsuccessful attempt to contact the owners, the dog was transported to Heartland Humane Society.

Other calls: Police responses included a non-criminal issue at 9:56 a.m. (South 23rd Street), 911 hang-up call at 11:27 a.m. (Main Street), non-911 issue at 1:24 p.m. (Main Street) and fraud at 3:31 p.m. (North 14th Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies at 9:30 a.m. (Bellfountain Road) and 8:43 p.m. (Fern Road and Powder House Road). PPD reported seven traffic stops.

THURSDAY, AUG. 15

• 3:42 pm. — Police reported warrant service in the 2300 block of Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 7:52 pm. — Police reported warrant service in the 200 block of South 23rd Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included trespassing at 11:18 a.m. (Main Street), suspicious person at 12:14 p.m. (Main Street), dogs at large at 1:57 p.m. (Main Street) and welfare check at 5:33 p.m. (South 30th Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies at 9:48 a.m. (West Hills Road and Wooded Knolls Drive) and 12:43 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.

THURSDAY, AUG. 8

• 9:01 p.m. — Police found a male child running east on Applegate Street and returned the boy to a babysitter and notified the mother.
