DAILY REPORTS

FRIDAY, JUNE 21

• 9:17 a.m. — Police responded to a suspicious circumstance in the 100 block of North 14th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 2:21 p.m. — Police took a report of fraud in the 100 block of North 15th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included a non-911 issue at 9:32 p.m. (Maplewood Court). PPD reported three traffic stops.

SATURDAY, JUNE 22

• 7:30 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 1800 block of Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 1:47 p.m. — Police responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 2500 block of Newton Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included a dog barking at 2:38 a.m (North Ninth Street) and warrant service at 1:41 p.m. (no address or information on a possible arrest provided). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 9:44 p.m. (South 19th Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.

SUNDAY, JUNE 23

• 9:33 p.m. — Police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 3100 block of Main Street. The incident involved a squabble between roommates and with no evidence that a crime occurred, there were no arrests.

Other calls: Police responses included a private property tow at 8:44 a.m. (Applegate Street) and a dog complaint at 10:19 a.m. (North 12th Street and Pioneer Street). PPD reported three traffic stops.

MONDAY, JUNE 24

• 6:42 a.m. — Police arrested a 34-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor warrant for contempt of court.

• 4:33 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the 3000 block of Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 10:11 p.m. — Police arrested a Toledo man (age not reported) near Main Street and North 12th Street on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants during a traffic stop for speeding.

Other calls: PPD reported four traffic stops.

TUESDAY, JUNE 25

• 10:09 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 1700 block of Main Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

• 8:53 p.m. — Police responded to an argument in the North 14th Street and College Street vicinity. The two men involved in the incident separated and no police action was taken.

Other calls: Police responses included a 911 hang-up call (Main Street), motorist assistance at 12:26 p.m. (Bellfountain Road, Corvallis), animal complaint at 2:13 p.m. (Main Street), welfare check at 2:14 p.m. (North 19th Street) and a fireworks complaint at 10:25 p.m. (Sunshine Avenue and Pioneer Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26

• 3:20 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a city ordinance violation in the 100 block of North 14th Street involving a complaint of rats coming from abandoned property.

• 11:34 p.m. — Police reported a driving under the influence call in the area of Gellatly Way and Highway 34. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.

Other calls: Police responses included an animal complaint at 9:01 a.m. (South 13th Street and Cedar Street), abandoned vehicle at 9:47 a.m. (South 20th Street), wallet found at 1:12 p.m. (Applegate Street), citizen contact at 3:03 p.m. (Main Street), welfare check at 4:27 p.m. (Applegate Street) and a city ordinance sign violation at 10:21 p.m. (South 11th Street). PPD reported eight traffic stops.

THURSDAY, JUNE 27

• 7:35 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a mental health situation involving an adult male at Timber Towne Coffee. The man left on foot and police were unable to locate him.

• 9:21 a.m. — Police took possession of a wallet that was found in the 300 block of South 30th Street. The wallet will remain at the station until the owner can be located.

• 6:29 p.m. — Police took an adult suffering a mental health crisis into custody and transported the individual to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis for treatment. 

Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 1:14 p.m. (Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis), suicidal subject at 4:07 p.m., and a dog barking at 9:13 p.m. (Adelaide Drive). PPD reported five traffic stops.
