DAILY REPORTS
FRIDAY, NOV. 22
• 8:33 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft from an apartment building on College Street that had occurred between 4 p.m. Nov. 21 and 8 a.m. Nov. 22. The report did not indicate what had been stolen but the value was estimated at $2,500.
• 1:06 p.m. — Police responded to a call listed as suspicious circumstance in the 200 block of North 13th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 3:16 p.m. — Police responded to a call listed as suspicious circumstance in the 300 block of South 13th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 4:16 p.m. — Police responded to a report of lost property in the 500 block of North 12th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 8:32 p.m. — Police responded to a report in the 200 block of Topaz Street of juveniles ringing doorbells and running away.
Other calls: Police responses included a suspicious circumstance at 12:03 p.m. (no address reported), report of forgery at 2:13 p.m. (Applegate Street) and a suspicious vehicle at 9:56 p.m. (South Eighth Street and Main Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
SATURDAY, NOV. 23
• 9:55 a.m. — Police arrested a 36-year-old man (city of residence not reported) on a misdemeanor charge of shoplifting from Marys Peak True Value with an estimated total loss of $84. Police responded to another shoplifting report from the same location at 10:58 a.m.
• 1 p.m. — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at South 13th Street and Applegate Street involving a semi-truck and SUV. No injuries were reported.
• 8:28 p.m. — Police arrested a 17-year-old boy (city of residence not reported) on a misdemeanor charge of reckless endangerment.
• 11:49 p.m. — Police arrested Barry Justin Phillips, 44, of Eugene, on a felony charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol) and on a felony bench warrant for failure to appear during a traffic stop in the 5400 block of Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis.
Other calls: Police responses included a mental health situation at 10:44 a.m. In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 12:19 a.m. (Main Street and Newton Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
SUNDAY, NOV. 24
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included an extra patrol at 12:33 a.m. (Philomath City Park), illegally parked motor home at 7:10 a.m. (South Eighth Street), suicidal person at 4:10 p.m., welfare check at 9:20 p.m. (Marlon Street) and suspicious circumstances involving an animal complaint at 11:33 p.m. (South 18th Street). PPD reported one traffic stop.
MONDAY, NOV. 25
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included property found at 9:29 a.m. (Main Street) and a dog at large at 9:58 a.m. (North 19th Street). PPD reported eight traffic stops.
TUESDAY, NOV. 26
• 6:30 p.m. — Police assisted the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of a single-vehicle crash at Fern Road and Powderhouse Road.
Other calls: Police responses included a non-911 issue at 4:14 a.m. (College Street), private property tow at 10:33 a.m. (College Street), suspicious circumstances at 2:02 p.m. (North Eighth Street), suspicious person at 3:22 p.m. (North Eighth Street), bike found at 3:27 p.m. (College Street) and a park ordinance violation at 9:06 p.m. (Philomath City Park). PPD reported three traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 27
• 7:52 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a burglary in the 100 block of North 15th Street. No other details were made available other than a report was taken and assigned a case number.
• 10:05 a.m. — Police responded to a report of mail theft in the 200 block of North 12th Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 4:25 p.m. (North Eighth Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
THURSDAY, NOV. 28
