FRIDAY, DEC. 27

• 8:44 a.m. — Police to a single-vehicle crash at The Arc Thrift Store on Applegate Street involving a driver who accidentally pressed on the gas pedal instead of the brake and hit an awning support beam. No injuries were reported.

• 10:42 a.m. — Police performed a death investigation in the 300 block of North 14th Street involving a 61-year-old man in a motor home. It was determined that he had died of natural causes.

• 11:36 a.m. to 1:13 p.m. — The log shows 12 “non-911” calls to police from various Philomath School District buildings. The calls involved the school district’s information technology department testing phone lines.

 Other calls: Police responses included abandoned vehicles at 8:44 a.m. (North 13th Street) and 1:56 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported 10 traffic stops.

SATURDAY, DEC. 28

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a trespass situation at 4:36 p.m. (South 14th Street) and a welfare check at 7:14 p.m. (North 14th Street). PPD reported 13 traffic stops.

SUNDAY, DEC. 29

•7:33 p.m. — Police performed a death investigation in the 400 block of South 19th Street.

Other calls: Police responses included a trespass situation at 2:25 p.m. (Industrial Way), parking complaint at 7:17 p.m. (Main Street) and a suspicious circumstance at 7:59 p.m. (Pioneer Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 12:22 a.m. and 11:54 p.m. (Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis). PPD reported two traffic stops.

MONDAY, DEC. 30

• 10:43 a.m. — Police responded to the 1800 block of Main Street for a report of fraud. The man reported that he had sold a vehicle for $8,000 and the check that he received did not clear the bank.

• 11:54 a.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 1200 block of Pioneer Street involving a caregiver who had been fired and would not return a handicap placard and money that had been loaned.

Other calls: Police responses included a parking complaint at 11:08 a.m. (North 15th Street), juvenile complaint at 7:40 p.m. (North 20th Place) and a dog at large at 9:35 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 1:04 p.m. (Kings Valley Highway and Magee Road, Monmouth) and 2:55 p.m. (North 19th Street). PPD reported six traffic stops.

TUESDAY, DEC. 31

• 1141 a.m. — Police assisted at the scene of a single-vehicle crash at Grange Hall Road and Fern Road.

Other calls: Police responses included a trespass situation at 11:02 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported nine traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 1

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 2:33 a.m. (Main Street and North 15th Street), suspicious circumstance at 8:21 a.m. (Applegate Street), welfare check at 9:24 a.m. (North 18th Street), found property at 12:12 p.m. (Applegate Street), noncriminal issue at 4:44 p.m. (North 14th Street), civil dispute at 5:27 p.m. (North 14th Street) and a report of theft at 6:28 p.m. (North 15th Street). PPD reported eight traffic stops.

THURSDAY, JAN. 2
