• 9:20 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a gas leak in the 500 block of South 19th Street. It was determined that an evacuation was not necessary. See separate story.

• 11:40 a.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Grange Hall Road and Fern Road. The crash involved a vehicle that had crashed into a guardrail. No injuries were reported.

THURSDAY, JAN. 2

• 3:14 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a crash involving an all-terrain vehicle with the operator trapped underneath in the 24000 block of Hidden Valley Road. EMS personnel freed the individual, who was transported with unknown injuries via Corvallis Fire ambulance to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center.

• 5:38 p.m. — Emergency medical services responded to a mutual aid call in the 1500 block of Southwest Jefferson Avenue in Corvallis. The request was canceled prior to arrival.

• 5:46 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a mutual aid call on a smoke investigation in the 800 block of Northwest 23rd Street in Corvallis. The request was canceled prior to arrival.
