FRIDAY, JAN. 3

• 9:06 a.m. — Police assigned a case number to a report from an 87-year-old man of lost property in the 2500 block of Green Street.

Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 12:32 p.m. (Applegate Street) and motorist assistance at 3:37 p.m. (Main Street and North Ninth Street). PPD reported 20 traffic stops.

SATURDAY, JAN. 4

• 7:48 p.m. — Police placed a mental hold on a 29-year-old man at a North Eighth Street location.

Other calls: Police responses included a dog at large at 9:22 a.m. (Main Street and South 24th Street), report of lost property at 1:31 p.m. (North Ninth Street and Main Street), noncriminal issue at 9:09 p.m. (South 13th Street) and citizen contact at 11:58 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard). PPD reported 18 traffic stops.

SUNDAY, JAN. 5

• 1:54 p.m. — Police responded to a suspicious circumstance in the 500 block of Neabeack Hill Drive involving a man sleeping in his vehicle after being kicked out of the house where he had been staying. Philomath Fire and Rescue also responded to what had originally been reported as a possible crash.

Other calls: Police responses included a suspicious circumstance at 12:15 a.m. (South 18th Street), citizen contact at 1:04 a.m. (College Street and North 18th Street), suspicious circumstance at 3:50 a.m. (North Ninth Street and Quail Glenn Drive), dog at large at 12:16 p.m. (Main Street), civil dispute at 2:42 p.m. (Main Street and South 10th Street) and an animal complaint at 8:42 p.m. (Quail Glenn Drive). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 2:43 a.m. (Highway 20, Blodgett) and 4:42 p.m. (Highway 99 and Greenberry Road). PPD reported 13 traffic stops.

MONDAY, JAN. 6

• 8:20 p.m. — Police responded to a suspicious circumstance involving an individual reporting several items missing from a room. The investigation was ongoing.

Other calls: Police responses included a domestic disturbance at 6:37 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 11:22 p.m. (Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis). PPD reported six traffic stops.

TUESDAY, JAN. 7

• 1:04 p.m. — Police responded to a report of harassment at a North Eighth Street location. A case number was assigned to the incident.

Other calls: Police responses included motorist assistance at 2:47 a.m. (Main Street and South 14th Street), abandoned vehicle at 4:40 p.m. (Industrial Way), suspicious person at 8:55 p.m. (Highway 20 and Priest Road) and an extra patrol at 9:46 p.m. (Industrial Way). PPD reported four traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, JAN. 8

• 8:27 p.m. — Police responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of South 17th Street involving a resident who saw someone via security camera take cans from his carport.

Other calls: Police responses included a repossessed vehicle at 2:53 a.m. (Pioneer Street), extra patrol at 5:17 a.m. (South 11th Street), extra patrol at 5:25 a.m. (Industrial Way), animal complaint at 4:08 p.m. (North 14th Street) and harassment at 4:20 p.m. (North Eighth Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.

THURSDAY, JAN. 9

• 9:24 a.m. — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at Main Street and South 24th Street. No injuries were reported.

• 10:13 a.m. — Police assisted the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a crash at Highway 20 and Kings Valley Highway involving a log truck that had overturned.

• 12:27 p.m. — Police responded to a crash at South 12th Street and Applegate Street. No injuries were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included an extra patrol at 2:38 a.m. (Clemens Mill Road), private property tow at 8:18 a.m. (Main Street), report of a prowler at 8:27 p.m. (College Street and North 15th Street) and a lost dog at 10:18 p.m. (South 18th Street). PPD reported 10 traffic stops.
