FRIDAY, JAN. 31

• 10:22 a.m. — Police responded to a situation at an address on North 15th Street involving a woman who reported that she tested positive for fentanyl but did not know how that could be possible. Police advised her to not take substances with unknown ingredients.

• 2:18 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 1000 block of Applegate Street involving a vehicle that backed into another vehicle and fled the scene.

• 8:12 p.m. — Police arrested a 42-year-old Philomath man at North Seventh Street and Main Street on a warrant.

Other calls: Police responses included a civil dispute at 2:58 p.m. (Main Street) and a suspicious vehicle at 6:43 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.

SATURDAY, FEB. 1

• 11:06 p.m. — Police arrested a 39-year-old Seal Rock man in the 1200 block of North 19th Street on a warrant for parole violation.

Other calls: Police responses included an extra patrol at 5:27 a.m. (Marys River Park), non-911 issues at 12:53 p.m., 1:04 p.m. and 1:06 p.m. (North 19th Street) and an event detail at 1:56 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported 13 traffic stops.

SUNDAY, FEB. 2

• 10:27 a.m. — Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at Main Street and Clemens Mill Road. No injuries were reported.

• 10:48 a.m. — Police responded to a crash at South Ninth Street and Applegate Street. No injuries were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a report of harassment at 1:40 p.m. (North Eighth Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 5:05 p.m. (McBee Road) and 7:51 p.m. (Decker Road). PPD reported six traffic stops.

MONDAY, FEB. 3

• 11:09 a.m. — Police arrested a 52-year-old Philomath man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .15 through .19) during a traffic stop at Main Street and North 14th Street.

Other calls: Police responses included a report of theft at 2:47 p.m. (North 15th Street) and a suicidal subject at 6:04 p.m. PPD reported no traffic stops.

TUESDAY, FEB. 4

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included a suspicious person at 7:53 a.m. (Main Street), welfare check at 11:12 a.m. (Robb Place), welfare check at 12:46 p.m. (Applegate Street) person screaming for help at 5:19 p.m. (South 11th Street) and a repossessed vehicle at 5:45 p.m. (Pioneer Street). PPD reported no traffic stops.

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 5

• No calls of significance were reported.

Other calls: Police responses included investigation of unsecured premises at 2:25 a.m. (Main Street), dog complaint at 2:26 p.m. (South 15th Street) and a noise complaint (South 16th Street). In addition, police assisted other agencies on calls at 6:54 p.m. (College Street), 8:12 p.m. (Southwest Technology Loop, Corvallis), 10:40 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis) and 11:53 p.m. (Southwest Philomath Boulevard, Corvallis). PPD reported no traffic stops.

THURSDAY, FEB. 6

• 11:28 a.m. — Police arrested a 52-year-old Corvallis man on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal mischief with criminal damage at a business in the 100 block of North 14th Street. The man allegedly defecated in a trash can and spread feces on chairs after sitting in them. 

• 4:36 p.m. — Police responded to a juvenile complaint in the 3100 block of Main Street involving tires on two scooters that were damaged. A civil agreement was met between the parties.

• 6:56 p.m. — Police arrested a 52-year-old Corvallis man in the 600 block of Main Street on a warrant for failure to appear.

• 8:29 p.m. — Police arrested a 52-year-old Corvallis man in the 500 block of Main Street on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal trespass.

Other calls: Police responses included a non-911 issue at 9:35 a.m. (South 14th Street) and citizen assistance at 5:11 p.m. (Newton Place). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 11:14 p.m. (Southwest 53rd Street, Corvallis). PPD reported two traffic stops.
