FRIDAY, FEB. 14
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included an investigation of restraining and stalking order violations at 1:24 p.m., report of threatening behavior by a spouse at 1:44 p.m., and a dog at large at 2:38 p.m. (address not reported). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 8:10 p.m. (Highway 34 and Botkin Road). PPD reported two traffic stops.
SATURDAY, FEB. 15
• 9:06 a.m. — Police responded to a woman’s report that she was verbally threatened on the Philomath Connection bus. There were no arrests in the case.
Other calls: Police responses included a request for a drug recognition expert at 12:53 a.m. (Northwest Fifth Street, Corvallis) and a dog at large at 3:27 p.m. (Main Street). PPD reported 12 traffic stops.
SUNDAY, FEB. 16
• 1 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old Albany man on a misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended during a traffic stop at College Street and North 13th Street.
Other calls: Police responses included a welfare check at 10 a.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported two traffic stops.
MONDAY, FEB. 17
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included a domestic disturbance at 11:02 a.m. (Main Street), welfare check at 8:08 p.m. (Main Street), citizen contact at 8:28 p.m. (North 19th Street and College Street) and citizen contact during an argument that had been observed at 10:06 p.m. (Main Street). In addition, police assisted another agency on a call at 11 a.m. (Southwest Reservoir Avenue, Corvallis). PPD reported 11 traffic stops.
TUESDAY, FEB. 18
• 2:36 p.m. — Police responded to a crash in the 1800 block of Main Street. No injuries were reported.
• 8:19 p.m. — Police responded to a 911 hang-up call from a cellphone at Philomath High School. An investigation revealed no signs of distress and no further action was taken.
Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 4:01 a.m. (Main Street and North 15th Street), welfare check at 1:23 p.m. (Houser Lane) and an investigation of a possible violation of an order at 6:15 p.m. (Applegate Street). PPD reported five traffic stops.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 19
• No calls of significance were reported.
Other calls: Police responses included citizen contact at 10:14 a.m. (Philomath Police Station). In addition, police assisted other agencies at 7 a.m. (Evergreen Road) and 5:04 p.m. (North 14th Street and College Street). PPD reported four traffic stops.
THURSDAY, FEB. 20
• 7:21 p.m. — Police responded to a complaint from a resident near Paul J. Cochran Veterans Memorial Park that children were on the grounds after hours. The juveniles were informed of the park hours, apologized and stated they would go home. City parks are open daily from dawn to dusk.
Other calls: Police responses included a suspicious person at 7:37 a.m. (Green Street), argument at 8:36 a.m. (South 13th Street) and a suspicious vehicle at 9:24 a.m. (South 11th Street). PPD reported seven traffic stops.
