FRIDAY, FEB. 14
• 3:09 p.m. — Firefighters responded to perform cleanup at a fluid spill at Philomath High School.
• 8:08 p.m. — Emergency medical services and firefighters responded to a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 34 near Botkin Road. The vehicle slid off an icy road, flipped over and landed in a drainage ditch approximately 20 feet down an embankment. No injuries were reported. See separate story.

SATURDAY, FEB. 15

SUNDAY, FEB. 16
• 7:26 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a small fire on Highway 34 about 7 miles southwest of the intersection with Highway 20. Firefighters located the fire, which was contained to a single area and not spreading, approximately 20 yards off the highway and extinguished it. Fire and Rescue reported that the fire appears to have ignited from abandoned Li-ion battery packs that had shorted.
