A discussion about two parks slated to be built in Philomath appears on the agenda of the Philomath Park Advisory Board. The board members plan to meet at 5 p.m. Thursday through videoconferencing.
Millpond Crossing, a housing development located north of Chapel Drive and east of South 15th Street, plans to build a neighborhood park with a pond in the coming months between its second and third phases.
A memorial park proposed to include neighborhood amenities is planned for the corner of College and North 16th streets and the board will review a survey that will be going out to nearby residents.
The meeting agenda also includes discussions on the Park Master Plan’s progress and Music in the Park concert series planning.
