As the end of the academic school year approaches, Oregon State University is preparing for their 154th commencement ceremony.
The university’s all college graduation ceremony will be held on June 17 at Reser Stadium; gates for guests will open at 9 a.m. and graduates will begin the processional line-up at 9 a.m.
Individual colleges and cultural centers will also be partaking in the graduation festivities, as they are holding their own ceremonies to celebrate the accomplishments and achievements of this year’s graduates.
The dress code for the larger OSU Commencement is caps and gowns for the graduating students. At the individual colleges’ and schools’ commencements and diplomas are given only at the university ceremony.
Individual College Graduations
College of Business
For the College of Business, there will be four separate ceremonies for the majors within the college and will take place on June 16 in the Memorial Union Quad:
9:00 am | School of Accounting, Finance, and Information Systems
11:30 am | School of Marketing, Analytics, and Design
2:00 pm | School of Management, Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain & Logistics Management
4:30 pm | Business Administration Major Ceremony
Graduates attending will be asked and expected to check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled major ceremony. Guest seating is outdoors for each ceremony and is first come, first served, doors opening 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
College of Education
The College of Education will be holding their ceremony in the ballroom located on the ground floor of the MU on June 16 from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m. with a handicap accessible entrance; upon entering the building from Jackson Avenue, there will be wayfinding signs down the hallways to guide guests and attendees. Graduates attending the ceremony are asked to RSVP by June 9.
College of Liberal Arts
The College of Liberal Arts does not have a separate specific college commencement ceremony due to the size of the college, but there are individual graduations within the schools.
School of Public Policy
The school of public policy will be holding a commencement ceremony on June 9, from 9:30 a.m – 11 a.m. in the MU, room 109.
School of Psychological Sciences
The school of Psychological Sciences will be holding their independent ceremony on June 16, from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Registration is required for graduating students looking to participate in the ceremony, as well as their guests.

College of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences
CEOAS’ graduation celebration is for 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 pm, on Friday, June 16 in the Student Experience Center Plaza; guest seating is set to be outdoors, but under a cover. Seating is first come, first served.
Graduates attending the ceremony are asked to check in 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
There is a reception set to immediately following the program. The program lasts about an hour, the reception is from the end of the program to 6:00 p.m.
College of Engineering
Graduating seniors are encouraged to participate in both their school’s celebration on June 16 as well as the university’s commencement ceremony.

The College of Public Health and Human Services graduation celebration includes those graduating, or who have graduated, summer 2022 though summer 2023.
Refreshments, games and giveaways in the Women’s Building immediately following each celebration.

The college requests that graduating students RSVP by June 5, telling which celebration they will be attending, how they would like their name to be shown in the program, their major and how many guests will be attending the program with them.

College of Science
The College of Science is holding their individual college ceremony on June 16 from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. in the Valley Library Quad. In order to attend, graduates and guests are required to register online.

Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine Graduation
The College of Veterinary Medicine graduation is set to take place on June 18 at 11 a.m at the LaSells Stewart Center- Austin Auditorium.
No tickets or sign up required to observe or attend the ceremony and directly after the ceremony, which is expected to conclude around 1 p.m. as of now, there will be a casual reception in the Giustina Gallery at LaSells.
The Honors College graduation celebration will be on June 16 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Learning Innovation Center first floor and quad.
In order to attend, an RSVP is requested, but no tickets are required. This is a reception event, without a set program.
E-Campus Graduation Reception
E-campus graduates are invited to bring their friends and family to their annual graduation reception on June 17 from 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m. as a chance to mingle with other e-campus students, instructors and advisors prior to commencement.
Graduating seniors will meet at the Memorial Union Building Lounge.
Asian and Pacific Cultural Center
Undergraduate and graduate students who identify within the Asian and Pacific Islander community are invited to attend the Asian and Pacific cultural center’s graduation celebration
on June 10 from 2 p.m – 4 p.m. in the MU Ballroom. This celebration is to recognize the achievements and dedication from those within the community.
In order to be recognized within the ceremony, students must be registered.
Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center
Undergraduate and graduate students who identify themselves as Black, African American and/or of the African Diaspora are invited to celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of Black graduates at their annual Outstanding Black Grad Celebration. The event is hosted by the Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center and will take place on June 16, from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Corvallis Community Center.
Graduates must have RSVP’d in order to be included in the ceremony and the program.
Centro Cultural César Chávez
The Centro Cultural César Chávez will be celebrating the accomplishments of undergraduates and graduates within the LatinX community. The festivities will begin at
Hattie Redmond Women and Gender Center
The Women and Gender cultural center is celebrating their graduating seniors on June 12, from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. where three awards will be presented:
