The Oregon State University College of Business selected Oregon State Credit Union as the recipient of its 2022-23 Distinguished Business Partner Award.
According to the College of Business, the award recognizes a company, business or industry group whose “joint efforts have resulted in significant benefits to the professional development of students, its employees or individuals pursuing job training/retraining for future employment.”
Laurie Roe, the credit union’s executive vice president/chief communication and experience officer, said the award, though unexpected, was greatly appreciated.
“Our long-standing partnership with the College of Business is one of collaboration and a shared vision to provide sustaining resources in support of education and the communities we serve,” she said.
The award was presented June 8 at a reception with student club leaders at The Vue in Corvallis.
