The Old Mill Center for Children and Families invites all to participate in its 45th annual dinner and auction on Saturday, May 3, at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center on the campus of Oregon State University.
Proceeds from the “Be a Rockstar for Kids” fundraiser helps the agency continue to provide essential services to local children and families.
Old Mill Center, located in west Corvallis, has connections to the Philomath community and is the organizer of Lilly’s Lope for Hope, an annual suicide awareness event.
“Old Mill serves over 2,000 children a year in Benton and Linn counties,” said Bettina Schempf, executive director. “Community involvement in our annual auction is key to enabling us to respond flexibly to more kids and families who need us.”
The May 3 in-person gala will feature appetizers and libations, a plated gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, and raffle drawings. Admission tickets cost $100 and can be purchased online.
A new car will be raffled off at $100 per ticket with a maximum of 600 tickets sold. The winner can choose between a 2025 Toyota Rav4 or a 2025 Toyota Camry.
In addition to the dinner and auction event, the Old Mill Center is also hosting an online silent auction that launched Friday and runs through Friday, May 2.
Founded in 1977, Old Mill Center supports families holistically with programs focusing on prevention, early education, parent education, mental health therapy and pediatric occupational therapy. The nonprofit provides most services at no or limited cost to clients.
