Patricia Mary Henderson, 34, of Lebanon, Oregon, passed away on June 26, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1990, in Laramie, Wyoming, to Calvin and Lisa Henderson.
Patricia grew up in Philomath, Oregon, where she graduated with honors before earning her associate degree in Medical Assisting from Linn-Benton Community College. She worked at Philomath Family Medicine and the Corvallis Clinic before welcoming her first child, Colby Daniel Rariden, with Levi Rariden. Patricia chose to stay home with Colby and care for friends and family during those early years; she always lovingly looked after her grandparents.
Later, she welcomed two more children, Mack Taylor Eugene Card and Scarlett Willow Card, with her partner Damon Card. Once her children began school, Patricia returned to the workforce as a caregiver in a memory care home, providing compassionate support for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. She later became the HR manager at a local gutter company while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in healthcare management through Colorado Technical University. She earned an academic badge, made the President’s List with a 4.0 GPA.
Patricia was deeply devoted to her children; Colby, Mack, and Scarlett were her world. She encouraged their involvement in activities and supported their interests. From painting Scarlett’s nails and braiding her hair just right, to tucking them into bed each night, she was there for them every day. She showed up with big hugs and even bigger laughs, she was a sassy pants, and the one you could count on to “get with the program” no matter what life asked of her. Her sense of humor was unmatched, crazy and contagious; and her beautiful smile lit up a room. She had many friends throughout her life, and she touched each one of their lives in a special way. Patricia had a remarkable ability to balance a full life seamlessly, with grace and love.
“If every time I think of you is a flower, I would be walking through a garden.” Patricia, we love you to the moon and back and you will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her parents, Calvin and Lisa Henderson; grandparents, Bill and LaJuana Henderson, and Patricia Roush; brother, Taylor William Henderson; children, Colby Daniel Rariden, Mack Taylor Eugene Card, and Scarlett Willow Card; stepson, Tre Owen Eugene Card; partner, Damon Steven Eugene Card; and cousins Catherine “Katie” Marie Henderson and Caleb William Henderson. She is also remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, extended cousins, and many cherished friends.
I just heard about this. I have worked in proximity off and on for a few years. I’m so sad to hear this. She really was a light whenever we had the chance to chat. She loved her kiddos so much. Her presence in this world will be missed.
