The Oregon Coast Bank Board of Directors selected Lance Nunn as the bank’s new president and chief executive officer, the Newport News Times reported.
“We are looking forward to Lance joining our team at Oregon Coast Bank,” Oregon Coast Bank Board of Directors Chair Andrea Langeliers said. “His steady leadership style will shine here. The board was impressed with his experience both as a community banker and bank regulator.” Nunn will start in his new position in early October.
Born and raised in Philomath, Nunn earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration at Oregon State University and a master of science degree in financial analysis at Portland State University. He also has completed nine federal and state banking examination schools and the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, where he returns annually to teach a Bank Management Simulation course to emerging leaders in community banking.
