Good morning, Philomath.

Published over the weekend, we have a feature on Philomath High’s homecoming king and queen and also a gallery with images from the morning parade and evening announcement. The Benton County Genealogical Society will host a free program Saturday called “Forgotten Oregon Stories.” The most-recent call logs for the Philomath Police Department and Philomath Fire and Rescue are on the site. The school board will meet tonight for the first of two scheduled work sessions to discuss the district’s strategic plan. The library has launched a Banned Books Bingo Challenge. The PHS volleyball team picked up another win on its record in last weekend’s tournament at Santiam Christian. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
