In today’s newsletter, we have the news about a Philomath woman who was found deceased last week in a high-desert area in Harney County. The all-girls rodeo that’s part of the Benton County Fair and Rodeo is now a qualifier for the national championships. We have an obituary for Philomath resident Linda Pearl Gisel, who passed on July 14. Philomath High graduate Elise Reese, a student-athlete at Linfield, received academic recognition.
