VOLUME 7, NUMBER 150
Saturday, July 11, 2026

Good morning, Philomath.

The Philomath Frolic and Rodeo’s 2026 version wraps up today with the popular Grand Parade, logging competition and tonight’s rodeo — along with a few other events. I wrote a column on my experiences from Home Run Derby through last night’s rodeo. Photographer Andy Cripe has a nice collection of images so be sure to check that out. We also have the latest OSP Log and a preview of Monday’s City Council meeting. In partner content, DEQ made an announcement on the controversial climate program. I’ll see you out there — I’ll be at this morning’s parade, which begins at 10 a.m., and afterward will head over to the Philomath Classic Car Show. Look for coverage of those events later today at PhilomathNews.com. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
