VOLUME 6, NUMBER 243
Saturday, November 15, 2025

Good morning, Philomath.

I started Friday morning at Newton Creek Park to watch elementary school kids participate in the bike bus, which leads off my Three Things column this weekend. Longtime Benton County commissioner Linda Modrell passed away. Five players made the all-Oregon West team in volleyball, including Nora Stanley and Shaylee May on the first team. Plus, the latest OSP Log is online and a local credit union will be celebrating on Monday. Don’t forget to drop in on city councilors to talk utility rates at this morning’s Councilor Coffee (9:30-11 a.m. at Timber Towne). — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
