VOLUME 6, NUMBER 177
Friday, August 29, 2025
Good morning, Philomath.
Concrete plinths that were a part of the streetscapes project will be displaying art at some point in the future and the city is putting together a committee to make decisions. For those not interested in art but you want to volunteer, the Philomath School District needs a couple of Budget Committee members. And we have a preview of the Community Day of Service event coming up Sept. 13 at the fairgrounds. It’s not on the Community Calendar because the game is out of town but the PHS football team will make its season debut tonight at Stayton. Here’s the team preview in case you missed it. — Brad Fuqua, Publisher/Editor
