In the newsletter today: Get ready to abandon traditional language and Talk Like A Pirate from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday at Marys River Grange Hall as Yvonne McMillan organizes this event for a second year. We have a preview of what to expect. Plus, Philomath Fire and Rescue has been busy again with recent responses including a mountain rescue in Polk County and a house fire near Monroe. Police Log, Fire Calls and Philomath High cross-country were also reported on over this past weekend.
