Volume 3, Number 45

Good Morning. It’s Thursday, June 2, 2022

In an effort to spread the news on a more timely basis with improved readability in the various mobile and desktop email programs, the Philomath News is going to a more frequent newsletter publication schedule. This change will tighten up the length of the newsletter and provide a fresher presentation of the latest news — replacing the longer newsletters that often get “clipped” by some email providers to ruin the experience and including story links that can at times be outdated.

This is an experiment of sorts to see how readers respond and how a more frequent newsletter fits into the Philomath News production schedule. You might receive a new edition in your inbox each morning, or it might be a couple of days before you get a new one — the timing depends on the news cycle and also when I take time off.

Website and newsletter analytics indicate that a significant number of people respond to reading the news through links provided in the newsletter or through social media. As a result, it makes sense on this end to deliver that news digitally in a more efficient manner.

Thanks for reading!
