Volume 3, Number 159
Good Morning. It’s Friday, October 21, 2022
Happy 140th birthday to Philomath — a day late. The city was incorporated on Oct. 20, 1882 with the Oregon Legislature’s passage of House Bill 104. Prior to incorporation, Philomath had existed since the college opened in 1867. Ten more years and Philomath celebrates 150th — a grand celebration will almost certainly be planned.
