Miss Margaret Mamie Henkle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Henkle of Philomath, died at the Corvallis Hospital yesterday. Miss Henkle had never recovered from injuries received in a runaway a number of years ago and her death at three o’clock yesterday afternoon resulted from complications dating from that time. Arrangements for the funeral have not yet been completed. Miss Henkle was born June 6, 1890, and was 32 years of age. She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Roy and Chester Henkle, and two sisters, Mrs. Merrill of California, and Miss Ora Henkle.

Editor’s note: The newspaper’s reference to date of death appears to be incorrect (edition published Jan. 10 and statement that Ms. Henkle died “yesterday”). According to an Oregon State Board of Health death certificate, Ms. Henkle died at 3 p.m. on Jan. 8, 1923).
