Editor’s note: According to a published family history, Margaret was the sixth of seven children of David Lowery Keyes and Susan Jane Ward, who are also buried at Mount Union Cemetery. She was married to Abiathar B. Newton on May 23, 1877. Family historians show her middle name as Delila or Deliliah but the newspaper account and death records show the name as Deliah.
