Maxtivity Arts and Crafts Creative Space in Philomath announced this week that it has been awarded a $4,700 grant from the Benton Community Foundation and the Harry and Lorraine Lagestee Community Endowment.
The organization said through a press release that the grant will enable Maxtivity to invest in back-end technological infrastructure with new computers that will have capacities ranging from program management to communication and collaboration.
Louise-Annette Burgess, executive director, said Maxtivity is grateful for the support and investment in its organization.
“This grant will make a significant difference in our day-to-day operations and empower our staff to continue making a positive impact, allowing equitable access to creative opportunities,” Burgess said through the release.
