The Philomath Planning Commission and the Benton County Board of Commissioners will meet during the week of June 16-20.
Planning commissioners will hold a public hearing on a variance involving a property in the Millpond Crossing subdivision and county commissioners will have budget-related discussions and votes. Here’s a full rundown:
Monday, June 16
- The Philomath Planning Commission plans to meet at 6 p.m. at Philomath City Hall (980 Applegate St.) for a public hearing on a variance to reduce a side-yard setback from 5 feet to 4 feet, 1 inch for an existing house on South 16th Street. Beyond the public hearing and a decision, the agenda includes staff updates and approval of minutes from an April meeting.
Tuesday, June 17
- The Benton County Board of Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. at the Kalapuya Building (4500 SW Research Way, Corvallis) for an agenda that includes hearings on a supplemental budget proposal and adopting a budget for the July 2025 to June 2027 biennium. - The Philomath School District has a licensed bargaining meeting on its calendar for 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Clemens Primary School (535 S. 19th St.). The district and the teachers’ union are going through the process of bargaining a new agreement.
