LIDs, sidewalk inventory among meeting agenda items for Public Works Committee

Meeting scheduled for 5 p.m. Thursday

The Philomath Public Works Committee plans to meet at 5 p.m. Thursday through videoconferencing with an agenda that includes a continued discussion on local improvement districts and whether or not they should be considered as a means of providing public infrastructure.

Also on the agenda:

• Review of an updated citywide sidewalk completion list.

• Discussion of the possible implementation of a private service warranty program.

• An update on the Millpond Crossing subdivision.

• Public Works project updates.

Also on the agenda is tree board business involving a homeowner’s request to remove a street tree on North 12th.

City councilors Catherine Biscoe (chair), Jessica Andrade and Ruth Causey sit on the committee. Rick Flacco and Lorri Hendon volunteer as tree board members.
