• BCSO: Suspicious person, 1:49 p.m., 3200 block of West Hills Road; deputies responded to a report of a man sleeping in a resident’s yard; the man, a 42-year-old from Corvallis, was asked to move along.
• PPD: DUII, 11:41 p.m., 1400 block of Main Street; police arrested a 21-year-old Philomath man on a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol .08 through .14) following a crash at the McDonald’s drive-through.

• BCSO: Crash, 12:42 p.m., Highway 20, Blodgett; deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred when a 2015 Ford Escape driven by a 75-year-old Albany man was leaving the Blodgett Store parking lot and pulled out in front of a 2009 GMC Yukon towing a boat; both vehicles were disable and towed; no injuries were reported.

• PPD: Shoplifting, 4:34 p.m., 600 block of Main Street; police responded to a local business that reported an incident that had occurred June 18 involving a woman who brought items into the store without a receipt and requested a cash refund that totaled $108; the money was refunded; the store’s corporate office requested that the local business file a report with police after learning that the suspect allegedly had pulled off the same scheme at other stores.
