WEDNESDAY, FEB. 8

• BCSO: Crash, 5:16 a.m., Highway 20 and Marys River Estates Road; deputies responded to a report of a crash off the highway due to icy road conditions; the driver, a 25-year-old Blodgett woman, was not injured and the vehicle was left at the scene to be recovered during daylight. Philomath police assisted at the scene.

• BCSO: Crash, 6:32 a.m., Highway 20 and Marys River Estates Road; deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on an icy road; no injuries were reported.

• BCSO: Crash, 6:58 a.m., Highway 20 and Marys River Estates Road; deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash involving a vehicle driven by a 23-year-old Portland man rear-ending another vehicle driven by a 21-year-old Corvallis woman on an icy road; no injuries were reported.

• PPD: Crash, 6:44 a.m., Highway 20 and Woods Creek Road; police assisted another agency at the scene; no injuries reported; no other details on the crash were provided.

• BCSO: Crash, 7:26 a.m., 36400 block of Kings Valley Highway; deputies responded to a report of a crash off the road due to icy road conditions; no injuries were reported; the vehicle hit a resident’s mailbox.

• BCSO: Assistance, 5:08 p.m. Highway 20 near milepost 41; deputies pulled over to assist a disabled white van parked off the roadway; no injuries were reported and the driver arranged for other transportation.

• BCSO: Warrant, 9:55 p.m., Main Street and North 19th Street; deputies arrested a 40-year-old Albany woman on a warrant for failure to appear on a criminal citation; the woman was cited and released.

• BCSO: Stolen vehicle, 11:22 p.m., Highway 34 near Botkin Road; deputies arrested Jeramey Paul Ortega, 38, of Philomath, on felony charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and unauthorized use of a vehicle; and a 33-year-old Corvallis woman on two warrants out of Linn County Circuit Court for probation violation and failure to appear and on a warrant out of Lebanon Municipal Court for failure to appear on a criminal citation; Ortega was transported to Benton County Jail and the woman was cited and released.
