SATURDAY, DEC. 11

• Criminal mischief, 7:51 p.m., 34900 block of Wren Road; deputies responded to a report of vandalism involving cinder blocks that had been thrown into multiple windows in the front of a building; nothing was reported missing and damage was estimated at $2,500.

MONDAY, DEC. 13

• Crash/multiple charges, 11:30 a.m., Highway 20 near milepost 41; deputies responded to a report of a head-on collision; an investigation showed a vehicle traveling east had crossed the centerline and hit a semitruck hauling wood chips; the vehicle’s driver sustained injuries and was transported to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis; the semitruck driver was not injured; deputies later arrested William Joseph Schwartzer Jr., 34, of Jefferson, for driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving, reckless endangering, first-degree criminal mischief and driving while suspended. • Criminal trespass, 4:10 p.m., 32800 block of Fern Road, deputies took a report of criminal trespass involving a former family friend who walked into the house uninvited; the suspect was warned and given a courtesy ride to a nearby location.
