• Crash, 2:55 p.m., Highway 20 near milepost 38, deputies responded to the crash of a 2014 Toyota Corolla that had been traveling westbound and struck a deer, no injuries, the deer was found to be deceased, vehicle required to be towed.

• Suspicious circumstance, 5 p.m., 31400 block of Braden Lane, deputies responded to a report of juveniles shooting at a Christmas tree farm with the caller concerned about safety; deputies determined the juveniles were shooting safely on their own property.

• Warrant, 1:15 a.m., Highway 20 and Kings Valley Highway, deputies arrested Keith Linn Flanagan, 47, city of residence not reported, on a warrant out of Benton County Circuit Court; Flanagan was cited and released.
• Warrant, 8:20 p.m., South 21st Street and Main Street, deputies arrested Russel Allen McDaniels, 48, of Halsey, and Maryl Dawn Swyer, 29, of Sweet Home, on warrants for failure to appear in court; both were issued criminal citations and released.

• Warrant, drugs, 1:30 a.m., Highway 20 near milepost 42, deputies arrested Scott Schroeder, 42, of Toledo, on a warrant for failure to appear in court, and Kara Schroeder, 42, of Toledo, on a charge of unlawful possession of methamphetamine; both were issued criminal citations and released.
THURSDAY, APRIL 8
• Criminal mischief, DUII, 10:15 p.m., Highway 34 near milepost 42, deputies arrested Matthew Dedek, 42, city of residence not reported, on charges of second-degree criminal mischief resulting in a criminal act and driving under the influence of intoxicants; deputies reported that Dedek crashed into an oncoming vehicle, drove off the road, through a fence and into a barn; the suspect was processed at the Philomath Police Department.
