The Philomath Park Advisory Board’s discussions on play equipment and exercise equipment at two local parks highlight this week’s local government meetings. The park board meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall.
Following is a rundown of all government meetings for the week of June 2-6:
Tuesday, June 3
- The Benton County Board of Commissioners, which typically meet on the first Tuesday of the month, will not meet on June 3.
- The Philomath Park Advisory Board plans to meet at 5:30 p.m. at Philomath City Hall (980 Applegate St.) for an agenda that includes discussions on Music in the Park planning, play equipment for Flossie Overman Discovery Park and exercise equipment for Philomath City Park. - The Philomath School District’s Special Education Advisory Committee meets on the first Tuesday each month at the school district’s office (1620 Applegate St.).
Wednesday, June 4
- The city’s Budget Review Committee plans to meet at 6 p.m. at Philomath City Hall (980 Applegate St.). The agenda includes approval of the proposed 2025-26 fiscal year budget and ad valorem property tax rate. Time has also been set aside for feedback on the budget process. Friday, June 6
