The only local government meeting that could impact Philomath-area residents will occur Monday morning at the Kalapuya Building in Corvallis when the Benton County Board of Commissioners get together.
A Philomath Park Advisory Board meeting that had been scheduled for Tuesday was canceled. The next city meeting will be July 8 when the Public Works Committee convenes.
Following is a rundown of all government meetings for the week of June 30-July 4:
Monday, June 30
- The Benton County Board of Commissioners will convene at 9 a.m. to tackle several key community issues, including housing assistance, juvenile detention services and public transportation improvements. The meeting, held at the Kalapuya Building on SW Research Way in Corvallis, will feature updates on the county’s floodplain management program and consideration of multiple intergovernmental agreements that could impact local services.
