The Philomath City Council and Philomath Fire and Rescue Board of Directors will both hold their regular monthly meetings on Monday.
The fire district’s board will have a lot of routine business to take care of, including the swearing in of a new board member, choosing officers and deciding if regular meetings should remain on the second Monday each month. The group plans to convene at 3 p.m.
The City Council has a variety of issues to tackle, including a rundown of the Philomath Lions Club’s donation of $10,000 so the city can get a new reader board, whether or not to put a psilocybin ban on the November ballot and revisiting an inclusivity proclamation that had been reviewed and debated a few weeks ago at the city’s Inclusivity Committee meeting.
