The Philomath Fire & Rescue Board of Directors plans to meet at 3 p.m. Monday, June 13, at Station 201 for a public hearing and decision on its fiscal year 2022-23 budget.

Included on the agenda will be a proposed contract with the Hoskins-Kings Valley Rural Fire Protection District and discussion of a future levy. The board is also expected to continue discussions on the fire chief review process and the district’s strategic plan.

A review of board policies, a board self-evaluation, a recommended cost-of-living adjustment, a review of the “standard of coverage” and an update on the status of a staffing grant from the state are also on the agenda, along with a few other topics.

The meeting will also include reports from the staff, union and volunteer association.
