FRIDAY, OCT. 20

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 3:08 a.m. in the 3000 block of Brentwood Place; noon in the 24600 block of Stovall Lane; and 10:19 p.m. in the 700 block of North 12th Street.

SATURDAY, OCT. 21

• 10:07 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a residence in the 1900 block of East Main Street for a possible fire. An oven heating element had failed and no fire was found. Crews removed the oven from the apartment.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 3:06 p.m. in the 500 block of South 19th Street; and 3:44 p.m. in the 32000 block of Hartless Hill Lane.

MONDAY, OCT. 23

• No calls of public significance reported.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 4:41 a.m. in the 23000 block of Highway 20; 5:45 p.m. at North 19th Street and College Street; and 6:06 p.m. in the 500 block of North Eighth Street.

TUESDAY, OCT. 24

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to a call at 6:40 a.m. in the 2000 block of Calderwood Drive.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25

• 4:22 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of a power line down in the 24000 block of Columbine Drive. The line was damaged by a falling tree. The scene was turned over to Consumers Powers Inc.

Other calls: Emergency medical services responded to calls at 12:22 p.m. in the 1700 block of Bullevard Street; and 1:47 p.m. in the 1300 block of Houser Street.

THURSDAY, OCT. 26

• 3 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a burning complaint in the 24400 block of Highway 20. A permit had been secured to burn a debris pile but the burning was taking place past permissible hours.

• 10:03 p.m. — Firefighters responded to the vicinity of Crisp Drive and Neuman Road southwest of Philomath for a report of a small fire on top of a ridge that could be seen for miles. Multiple calls to 911 were made through the night. The fire was contained and within a clearing. The Oregon Department of Forestry was notified.
